Every time I start Google Chrome, the Google 1 page appears. I hate Google 1 because it's not a search page. If I want the Google 2 page, I have to do an additional click by clicking a bookmark to get to that page. I'm sick and tired of it. How can I get Google Chrome to default to the Google 2 page and never show Google 1 ever again ?

Go into Settings > Scroll down to "On Startup" > Click the "Open a specific page or set of pages" radio button > Add a new page > enter www.google.com in the Site URL box.

The first one just has quick buttons for your most commonly accessed sites. The search bar in 1 is the same as in 2.

google 1 is the default page you load when starting Chrome or a new tab on Chrome.

The tiles are usually the most used pages... (already explained by tcp)

Yeah, I mean I get the visual differences... But functionally they're the same.

If you're running Chrome, typing google.com into the address bar is the same as going to google.com and typing google.com into the search field.

It's all the same.

In Google 1, the print you enter gets kicked up into the address bar at the top of the screen where it makes the print smaller. Aggravating.
