Wife has random (like as in when not even using phone) popup full screen ads on her Galaxy S7. No new games no new apps. 2 weeks happening.
Nobody will help and its making the phone drain and basically useless.

Have you tried installing something like Lookout mobile anti-virus? it's free, see if it finds anything. If that doesn't fix it reset the phone to factory settings.

Google always helps.. in this case your phone has garbage on it.. do a factory reset.

Adblock Plus has a free app. I also use the Bitdefender free app.

Go to Play Store, install AVAST mobile anti-virus (free). Run a scan for virus and malware.

Could you supply us with one or more of the offending site(s) that are presenting the popups? Also, please indicate what browser she is using. It would help greatly in identifying whether it is a site or some malicious software on the phone causing the trouble.
