Despite the Chevron's pdf promotion terms that says no WM purchases, I filed on-line submission as 'other' and included the receipt of qty 4 Delo XLE 10W-30 1 gal for total of $16.
There was a good chance for approval since my previous Havoline DS oil rebate was approved for $15 using a WM on-line order.
I took a chance since it required 5 min to collect the information and submit on-line.
No stamp, back-up copies of the rebate form and receipt. Everything digital.
I was pleasantly surprised that I was approved for the entire $20 and then I had to step-back to realize how I blessed I was.
I profited $4 and had 4 gal for keeps which I am subsequently donated to my work colleague and brother. I wanted to pass it forward.
One of colleagues made a remark that I was working for WM to remove Delo product from the shelf.
The $4 will help reduce the earlier $9 Delo XLE 10W-30 2.5 gal purchase. In short, my Delo stash of 18qts comes to 27.78 cents/qt
When I add this to last year's AutoZone Rotella T5 10w-30 2.5 gal for $15 - $12.50, I have enough oil for 600 hrs for the ZTR or the next 20 years.
So the total cost is $7.50 for 14 OCs (engine capacity is 2qts). The equivalent 7 gal of Delo would normally costs $105.
