Looks good, that AT/3 XLT might be my Jeep's next tire. Depends on pricing, might just go with BFG again.

Certainly appreciate the more rugged sidewall shoulder. Looks the part of an all-terrain now, compared to previous model.

My 13 Ram 4x4 is due for tires soon and I was thinking about maybe going the Cooper route? Just might have to look into those.

Good choice, here's a write up on the tire:

I am wondering if the Discoverer is a bit too aggressive for just 3 seasons on my Ram? I use Cooper winter tires on both my Ram and my wife's Impala. Her car will be good for a few more years yet so I am currently just thinking of my truck, SS.

EDIT: I was thinking more like these, the Evolutions?

As long as no off-roading with them those should be very nice in the city and on the hwy. Those should be smooth and quiet for you irv.

No offroading so that is why I was thinking of these instead of the Discoverers. I purchased my Ram 4x4, and my previous 3 trucks with 4x4, just for the winter driving. I snowmobile so having 4x4 on hand getting into some places comes in very handy.

I will look into these for sure.
Thanks again, SS.
