Just be aware that although it is described as "European Formula" and is 0W-40 like many "euro" oils, unless something changed recently the only certification it has is SN. No actual European vehicle certs.

Here’s the 5w40 Formula 1 Synthetic. It has some European approvals.

I used to work at Altrom in Calgary, AB.
For those of you who don't know what that is, we sold OEM or equivalent parts and fluid to European repair shops and dealers ONLY.
These shops had corporate accounts with us for various rates.

Anyway, we also sold engine oils by bulk and by the jug. There was one particular gentleman who sold us on offering his companies brand of full syn engine oil by the barrel(bucket). He claimed it was just as good as any other top brand like Mobil, Castrol, etc.
So one day (being the avid BITOGer I am), I decided to ask him exactly what certifications it passed for MB, BMW, VW etc.
He became livid and flew off the handle at me. I didn't know why, as I thought my question was innocent.

Shortly thereafter I left the company. I never knew what happened with that companies oil offerings.
Considering what was going on at the time in the Alberta economy, I wouldn't be surprised if they were offering some garbage snake oil which ended up gumming up engines etc.
