Interesting in that the Tilapia skin can be used instead of bandages on burns and confers some of the benefits of skin in protection burns, reducing pain, and promoting healing.

Has been described as having "stem cell" like behaviours in humans when used as a skin replacement.

Do a bit of googling on the subject...

We get Nile perch of of retention pond around here. They don't taste too bad. I don't eat made in China Nile perch.
