Interesting in that the Tilapia skin can be used instead of bandages on burns and confers some of the benefits of skin in protection burns, reducing pain, and promoting healing.

Has been described as having "stem cell" like behaviours in humans when used as a skin replacement.

Do a bit of googling on the subject...

What do you think crabs and lobsters eat? Tilapia has been used in sewage treatment.
