New 6" Auto Spa Palm Polisher Bonnets To Use ?

My Auto Spa Palm Polisher came with : one foam and one microfiber bonnet ... Since foam replacement bonnets are not available locally - can I just use 7" to 8" terry cloth bonnets (from HF) over the 5"6" foam bonnet the palm polisher came with to apply and remove wax / sealant ? Then use a new terry cloth bonnet to remove the wax followed by a few passes with the micro fiber bonnet for final shine ?

The foam pad is for applying the wax or sealant. Then put the microfiber one on for removal of the product after it has dried. The ones on Autogeek are very nice. I'd go with a 6" microfiber one for removal of the product.
