Adhesive for bezel-less door weatherstrip?

I replaced the door glass on a Kubota tractor cab and the old weatherstrip doesn't want to cling to the underside of the door glass where it curves up over the fender. I'm skeptical that yellow super trim adhesive would accomplish this for very long - I need to run a small bead in the bottom of the weatherstrip channel and have it hold fast to the edge of the tempered door glass. Any product suggestions?

There is some stuff called window weld by 3m which is a very strong urethane trim adhesive maybe that could work. The GTO world uses it to fill in the transmission mount so I assume its very strong and dudable.
