I keep getting this error on my phone and I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to fix it.

The phone is an Alcatel A30 Fierce running 6.0.1 on the Metro PCS network. Screen shot below.

I'm relatively new to smartphones BTW....

Updates for that site are current and caches have been cleared?
Have you tried uninstall - reinstall?
Do you have any other weather apps loaded - that may be conflicting?

I'm sorry I should have been more precise. This happens with all apps not just the weather app.

see if you can go into network and perform a network reset.

sounds like you possibly have a virus

I'm running Bit Defender on that cell so I don't think its a virus.

if that is anything like the experience I had with bitdefender for windows.. it might BE the problem.

that's a core service, you could have a corrupt image, or like was said before, failing hardware.

You really should try a factory reset first

Well I guess I just solved my own problem. Today at work I ran over my own cell phone with an 8,000 pound fork truck. For some reason it will not even turn on now.

Lol nice. I took my car out for a test drive after some maintenance and as I was driving I saw this black thing flip off the hood onto the road. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw my iPhone laying in the opposite lane, and just as I was turning around to get it a dump truck ran over it. Mine still turned on but it was time for a new one anyway. Guess it is for you too
