2001 Sea-Doo GTX 2 cycle, with fuel injection and oil injection. New to me.

After it sits for a couple of days when I try to start it, it turns over a bit and then locks up.

When I take out the forward spark plug and turn the engine over a ton of injector oil comes out of the plug hole. Not so with the rear plug, no oil comes out.

After it starts it smokes a lot then clears up and runs great.

What would cause this?

Thanks a lot, Guys!

sounds like its time to disable the oil pump and just put premix in it?

Never owned an oil injected engine though.. maybe you cant do that?

The oil pump would have an output line for each cylinder. If you were to switch these lines and the problem moves to the other cylinder, then it indicates the problem is with the pump.

Had a similar problem with my 99 GSX. I ran premix for 5-6 tanks, haven't had the problem return.
(Never checked for injector oil in the plug holes, so might not be the same issue).
