Oil life monitor was at 30%. I had the van in the shop for timing belt and water pump replacement, coolant flush, serpentine belt replacement and a fuel induction/injector cleaning so I did the oil change while it was there.

Just curious; why did you run the 0/20 between your last and current run of the 10/30 in the fusion? Not flaming you or anything, I'm just wondering if it was an experiment or something.
Experiment. I’m hoping the thick 30 will slow consumption a bit. Plus Florida summer.

Usually do most of my own maint, oil brakes, fluid lights filters etc, just yesterday took Tucson for new tires at Quick lane which had the best price I could find for tires I wanted and I had them go ahead and change oil , going to be a hot weekend and with memorial day and daughters HS graduation I did not feel like messing with it myself this time. anyway, out went 5w20 Napa Conventional and in went Motor Craft 5w20. I figure when I get to 5-6K I will send a sample of the Tucson moptorcraft oil in to Blackstone and post the result, though at the rate I drive it now that will take about a year to put 6K on it

Two oil changes in quick succession here. First was due to the truck being in shop for a head gasket change, which turned out to include a new cylinder head. The shop installed the Rotella T4 and CARQUEST filter without asking, but I figured on dumping whatever oil they put in it early because the engine had been opened up.
I was planning to run the T4 until the oil level got down to add, but a hidden stump in a parking lot forced a premature oil change when it dented the oil pan. So I had a new pan installed and supplied the Valvoline HMTD and FU filter to the shop.

Out 5 quarts M1 High Mileage 5w20, M1 110 filter.
In 5 quarts M1 High Mileage 5w20, M1 110 filter.
5,800 miles, minder at 15%. Checked dipstick prior to drain; full.
Also serviced PS and Master Cylinder reservoirs; 35 psi all around.
This car is perfect.
