Are more manufactures going this route?I can see that having both is in a way the best of both worlds.port injection to keep the valves clean and direct injection for better fuel economy. With this type of system is the chance of LSPI still a problem? Thanks Joe

Seems like more and more are doing it. Some off the top of my head. 2018+ Mustang GT, 2019+ C7 Corvette ZR1, 2018+ Ford 1.5T 3-Banger.

due to xtra cost it will take a while, and theres little talk about it prolly because it raises questions about todays DI only engines in use. manufactures claim its not an issue but those keeping their cars over 75,000 miles will be looking at a big cleaning bill!!!
