I have a 2013 Mazda 3 here that will soon be due for a coolant service. It calls for FL22 but a few folks have advised me to consider Motorcraft Specialty Green at a much lower cost.
Can anyone confirm that the two products use the same chemistry and carry the same service life?
Also, WorldPac recommends CCI MFG’s hybrid green coolant (same thing as Pentofrost A2) for this application. However, the Mazda part number listed on the Pentofrost A2 data sheet cross references to the conventional Mazda coolant, not FL22. So, I am not certain that this is the correct chemistry.
Thanks.
