Home Depot Clearance
Lucas Full Synthetic 75w90 Gear Oil (Trans & Diff Lube)
$3.53 (regular $13.99)

I know Lucas doesn't get much love here, but man, that's cheaper than the SuperTech Syn Blend I used for my last change.

Are you saying Lucas synthetic gear oil is junk? And it will cost me repairs in the end?

Just 75w-90?
I am needing some 75w-140.
I used Lucas gear oil in the past with no issues. I know the AMsoil test a decade ago had some bad findings on conventional Lucas gear oil, but never seen anything bad about their synthetic gear oil.

Just 75w90 at my store. 75w140 was regular price. YMMV

Got 8 quarts at my local HD.

The gallon jug of oil treatment was also on clearance for $10.

Must be a older formula in that test as the new one meets MT-1 and 2105E for example.

My local Home Depot had none on the shelves at any price. I did find some Lucal Oil Safeguard Ethanol Fuel Conditioner (16oz bottle) for $2.33 each. I grabbed two just because. I wanted the Gear Oil since I now have a motorcycle with shaft drive that uses a piddly 150ml of gear oil there. Even one bottle would last me for a while.

Went to one large home depot and they didn't carry it, then went to a smaller home depot and they had 3, bought 2, $3.53 each.
