I am by no means a tribologist, and obviously can't make a definitive statement based solely off the numbers in those results.. but, based on what is provided..

The Motul is the clear winner of that bunch, IMHO.

The Havoline looks good, but not quite as robust as I expected.

The Lucas just looks like rebottled Valvoline WB, IMHO.

You're a bigger man than me

I thought the same exact thing but refused to post it...

The bottle they used is Dexos 1 and online at Chevronlubricants it's Dexos1 Gen 2 and even the pds is D1G2 but is dated June 15 2018. I'm sure the formula changed between Dexos 1 and D1G2. Maybe the new one is not in stores yet.

If it is, and even if it isn't, I'm sure it'll be priced well above the others.

I forgot what I paid for it (used it on the third OCI for car in sig), but it was NOWHERE EVEN NEAR their 300V prices, not even HALF of what that 'liquid gold' co$t$. LOL

That's not so bad, then.

The only Motul varieties I ever come across here are the motorsport types, and, well, you know how that goes. Of course, that's not to say they don't make phenomenal products.

2% spread in NOACK, while also having better CCS. Motul is the clear winner here... which makes sense because it’s probbaly double the price of the other two.
