So my 2018 3500 Silverado WT didn't come with wheel well trim. I was wanting to get OEM trim that I see on higher trim level trucks.

But I can't find an online retailer that sells DM OEM parts? There are plenty that sell OEM "accessories" (locking wheels nuts, hitches, etc) but I can't find a site that sells actual parts (body panels, drive train parts, and engine components).

Can you guys steer me in the right direction?

go to a dealership, get the part number you need, then check with a Napa store, they have catalogs not usually given to the public, they keep them under the counter or they can look your part number on their computer,,its a start.....

Very fast to email back if you have any questions, all these part sites are tied to a dealership usually.

Once again, No, this is NOT what I want. Looking for OEM truck parts, not accessories.

Try Trunk Monkey Parts (Suburban Auto Group), they're by far the best "online" dealership I've used. They also sell GM accessories -- give them a call if you can't find what you need, Nico and the team are very helpful.

I tried GM Parts Direct a few times because they were a few bucks cheaper than the above, but their shipping times and customer service were so unbelievably slow that I vowed never to use them again. Here's what happens every time: I order a part, get the automated email confirmation, then a week goes by with nothing, call several times before finally getting through, find out it's back-ordered.

Once again....this is just an accessory site!!!! Why can't I find a website that sells things like OEM fuel pumps, ball joints, injectors, etc. etc. for this truck????????

You are mistaken. I have ordered plenty of hard parts from gmpartsdirect.com
It's not hard. Try it again.

Edit: I don't know why your truck only brings up accessories on that page. Too new maybe? I'd just call the dealer parts dept.

If for some reason you can't find your way through GMPartsDirect, order the parts from Alibaba since GM parts are made in China anyway.

I don't know anything about rust, but wouldn't that hold all the salty stuff up there and cause rust, rather than it being open and easily washed?

Yep, but it will hide the rust for just long enough to completely rust the wheel well out.

My dad has a new sprinter and the same thing happens under the belt line trim. All of them start rusting under the trim and emblems. Grit gets in there and gets vibrated through the paint.

Dude, why are you yelling at multiple people who have given you several resources? The site I provided is a full-blown dealership parts counter. Did you even take the 60 seconds to pick your vehicle at the top and see that you can order any part you want via the exploded parts diagram?

And as someone else said, sometimes they aren't 100% current for very new vehicles -- hence my suggestion to call them and ask for help. Nico and the guys at Suburban will get you what you need.

Unless it is a first year new body or trim change, just plug in a prior year vehicle to find the part. Not rocket surgery.

Thanks. I see all the parts I was looking for if I look for a 2017, not 2018.

Sorry about the confusion. Thank you.
