When you don't have to ask. You'll know.

I consider myself new even though I've been reading here for years.

When there's no sanctimonious forum vigilante trying to pretend it's okay to talk down to you.

I am at 13 of 16

I feel so underachieved now.....................

Whether someone has been a member for 1 week or 10 years, or have 1 comment or 10,000, makes no difference to me. Whether or not others consider me a newbie or a oldie, makes no difference to me either, zero. I enjoy reading many of the various automotive topics on here and find them interesting regardless of how long someone has been a member or the # of comments that member has on BITOG.

Oh I wasn't talking about anyone in particular. Just saying that when the term "newbie" comes up, it's usually because someone wants to be self-righteous.
