Oh? While Mercedes isn't exactly as dominant as they once were, they've only won one race, with Ferrari winning two and Red Bull winning one. Mercedes were within striking distance of winning all four, but so was Vettel, realistically. Even the anti-Ferrari British media have agreed we could have very easily seen four wins in a row by Vettel this season. That could apply to Hamilton, too, as much as it pains me to admit it.
As for places paying for races, unfortunately, that's necessary. If this historical tracks can't pay the fees that Liberty needs to keep running the show, then historical tracks don't get to have races. I don't like it in the least, but there is no quick and easy solution to this.
