Someone posted AAP has this fluid on sale for $ 5 a quart . My local AAP does not have it in stock , but looks like I can order it and have it shipped free for over $ 35 purchase .

I would be looking at Dexron 6 . Anyone know anything about this ATF ?

Thanks , :)

God bless

CQ ATF is made by Amalie. There is nothing wrong with it

Some Dexron VI is full synthetic and some is semi synthetic. Back when Carquest wasn't property of Advance Auto, their Dexron 6 was fully synthetic and made by Ashland.

I wouldn't worry about anything if I was using that in a vehicle that needed Dexron 6.

May I ask on this thread about Carquest gear oil .

Any one know who make it. My local advance auto out off 70w90 Mobil 1 . They have RP and I don’t want pay 20+ for it

Last time I bought Carquest branded lubes, they were from Ashland, maker of Valvoline. However, they may have changed.

Bo not wish to sound like a wise mouth , but you may have to reach outside AAP / Carquest .

I first would check for sales at local brick & mortar stores . Then internet search , starting at Walmart .

I think the last diff oil I purchased was Valvoline , at AAP .
