How Air Filters Are Made At K&N Engineering

I bought a Spectre knock off of K&N. It looks just like a K&N except its a different color rubber.
I wonder if its a sister company.

AEM - DRYFLOW is a single-layer dry polyester non-woven synthetic filter media

K&N - 4 layer oiled cotton gauze

Airaid - either K&N or AEM (depending on application)

Spectre - pre-oiled, synthetic filter media

Good info, thanks.

Great video! Surprising that K&N makes all those other brands. People seem to hate on K&N (myself included) yet they really favor AEM.... Which are made on the same line. Really makes you wonder if K&N is all that bad. I really should look up some of their efficiency numbers.
