Peanut butter is the ultimate bait for rodents. For my garage I have caught 2 at a time more than once on the stuff.

I've caught mice with the rig in the picture as well as found the set trap with all the holes in the trigger licked clean.

I used to tease the cats that would wander into my yard. After seeing their good work, I now open the garage door and set out some milk for them during their patrols. I can tolerate a few paw prints on my car.
