Does anybody remember Free Valve?

I had used this product for the first time in the late 1960s. As an oil additive it would quiet noisy lifters almost straight away! Adding it to your oil would keep the oil from gunking up. It could be added to the fuel. Had this weird smell like going bad fish!
I have not seen it in years but I do have a bottle left over from the late 1970s.... Made by Allied Precision Products out of Florida.... so old it does not have a UPC label on it!


Seems that Sea Foam may be the same type of product.

I've never used FreeValve, but I have used SeaFoam before, and as far as it goes:

Remember laws were allowed even more then vs now to be claimed and cryptically worded to be confusing. My neighbor told me a story of lifetime plugs he bought in the mid 60's. They lasted I think 6 months, he contacted them for a replacement. Response was simple and concise "well that was the lifetime of the plugs thank you for your purchase".
