Checking the tires on my Spartan zero turn today.
Manual says 12 psi on the rear radials- fine....

It says 28 psi on the small fronts...
I put 14 psi in them and they are as hard as a rock. I can't see the reason
for 28 psi. I called them and they just read from the manual, 28 psi.

Whats the psi in your front zt tires??
Thanks!

When Husqvarna first started selling zero turns (they only had commercial models) the owners manual said 15 ps1 for front swivel tires. We quickly started getting calls from customers that a tire or two went flat. Found out they were popping off the bead.

So we repaired them with 30 psi, no more problems. Shortly after, Husqvarna Corp sent us a letter to start using 25psi. The manuals were updated later.

When they are that hard ,they were rutting the yard. but as stated, the would not hold air. Solution, fitted tubes filled with slime at 8 psi . Works perfect.

These always seem to take high pressure in relation to their size.

Dad has a 2000 lb rear mount Land Pride mower. The swivel wheels on that are 35 PSI. Probably just a tad larger than what is on your mower too.

Yeah that is stout......
Honestly the fields I mow the front wheels are up in the air most of the time
Rough terrain that is hilly but constantly slopes left to right every few feet- rough!
