People text me but message not viewable??

I've got a LG Fiesta2 TracFone and when someone will send me a text I get an error message that says...
"Some messages not downloaded in messages."

I can see the person's name but can't see the message. I also can't sent a text message. How do I fix this problem?

Are they sending messages with text or photos/ videos?

My iPhone fails to download them at times depending on where I'm at reception wise.

My phone does that when I lose my cell connection. Or I will get a bunch of texts all at once. How is your signal when this happens? Are these people that you know?

Your provider needs to fix it I hope you aren't tided into an extended year contract.

People I know will send me text, no photos or videos, these are not spam texts.

Reception can be spotty at times.

If I send a 'test' text to myself I'll get it 2 seconds later and I'm able to see my test text and message.

I forgot to mention, I was previously getting texts just fine until yesterday.

Hopefully your carrier helps out. The customer service on low cost providers leaves a lot to be desired.
