New Magnefine Power Steering Filter? R038M-P 3810

I changed it out today. Except for the label it was identical. The old one as also labeled Raybestos and Magnefine, made in Australia.

Anyone cut one open?

Wix 33033 is what I use on my power steering...

Careful, some of the Wix metal canisters have a screen, some have a cellulose filter inside...

The cellulose one are 20 micron...

I had the ATP version installed on my Santa Fe. I purchased it from a Ford Dealer under a 1990's Ford Taurus part number. I changed it regularly and the transmission was all original. It had no serviceable filter or oil pan so that is why I wanted it on there. 300K miles (535,000km) when it died and shifted fine.
