So, most people know the New Yorker Magazine is renowned for their cartoons as well as their excellent writing.
On their website they have a contest every week where one of their cartoonists draws something and the magazine allows people to submit their own captions.
A few weeks later they publish the best captions and the persons' names that submitted them. This is done on a weekly basis.
It is always a good diversion in the middle of the week to bring a smile and it also demonstrates how difficult it is to humorously caption a single pane cartoon
