Off a friends 2009 Chevy Suburban. Last oil change done somewhere else. I cant say how many miles on filter but I'd say less than 3k

Put fram tough guard 10060 and Harvest King 5w30 syn in and on

Yeah, I'm surprised too. I thought the FL500S cross-references to a Wix 51348, while most 4.8/5.3/6.0 GMs use a 51042.

Negative on that one. fl500S crosses to a fram 10575

Wix 51348 crosses to a fram ph 3614

car51 - louvers in that FL-500S? Don't know when Motorcraft they switched from holes to louvers, but I think anything made in 2018 will have louvers.
 
As usual Car51 another great c&p from you! I didn't know GM uses metric threaded oil filters. The Motorcraft FL500S has metric threads, the same threads as on the FL820S I believe.
