Any of your mowers have PCV systems/valves?

I imagine this could be a maintenance item just like for vehicles, but likely only on larger riding lawnmower engines. Anyone know they have one?

Every single briggs and Stratton down to the little ones for a very long time has had a pcv valve. On the flatheads it was always built into the tappet cover.

lol, and particulate filter while were at it

Never know the brigs had em. Makes me think all do, just not as obvious as an auto

Most small engines use a check valve of some some on the crankcase breather system to try to keep the crankcase under a slight vacuum. Piston motion in conjunction with the breather/check valve keep this in operation.

This helps a LOT with reducing oil consumption
