I picked up some Clearguard Armor 9H nano ceramic coating to try on my 2006 Cadillac DTS. Has anyone used this or any similar products and have any advice or opinions on them?

Makes paint as hard as tungsten steel?

New to me. If it works let me know. We could run some Kevlar into a HVLP and you would for sure have the Armor part down. LiquiGlass was what comes to mind back in the day. Still make it I wonder?

Hard typically equals brittle.

I bought something similar. I've only used it on my Harleys tank. You have to clean it with a special polish before applying. My gas tank is very glossy and beads like crazy. I'm going to do the rest of the bike and then the top surfaces of my car. Very easy to apply after cleaning the paint.

Correct, but they tend to equate hardness with durability and strength.

9H is a measure of scratch resistance...

Obviously tempered glass will shatter. As will tungsten, while we're on the topic.
