Wife and I are attending a wedding today about an hour away from our house.
There is a 4.5HR gap between start of ceremony and reception.
Initially I was like man this is a long time to burn.
But after checking brickseek wallyworld that area is LOADED!
Lots of clearance Pennzoil 0w20, EuRo 0w40, Castrol 0w40 and RP 10w30.

Wife thinks I am crazy that I really want to hit up the local Walmart's for clearance oil before the reception?

Just beware that it will be crazy busy in there during that time. I like to go early or late or not at all.

Our weddings usually start around 10am to 12pm and then the reception is always around 6ish to midnightish....I had a wedding to go to on Easter Sunday in Baltimore. So between the wedding and reception, about 20 of us ended up going to Camden Yards and watch a whole baseball game lol

But to answer your question....you are crazy....please admit yourself into the motor oil psych hospital pronto!

We at BITOG fully support your decision to buy clearance oil at Walmart while wearing a suit (or tux).

Just show this statement to your wife, all will be well. Actually, my wife expects that sort of thing from me, after 30 years of marriage.

Weddings and receptions are OVERRATED in our society.
Oil specifics and DIY thrift are UNDERVALUED in our society.

Give 'em an oil change or two for a wedding present. If they look aghast forget their names....they're lost causes.
