Well since the other thread got locked, I thought we start the weekend on a good vibe:

take 1/2 cup of pecans/walnuts
dump them in the oven on a tray at 250F
(or cast iron pan at medium)
DON"T burn them! check on them regularly
extract from oven/top
let cool

2 cups of sugar/brown sugar
pinch of salt (coarse-ier, the better)
1-2 sticks of butter
1 cup powdered milk
2 spoons of cocoa powder
about 1-1.5 cup of water.
rum
vanilla

bring to a boil (more like small simmer) the water,
add sugar, salt, cocoa powder, rum, vanilla,
add powdered milk
mix gently on low until no more clumps
simmer until maple-syrup-in-the-fridge
pull from top
mix the nuts in

place some wax paper on a pan
grease
pour the delicious yummy smelling mix
level with wooden spoon
(now the hard part) wait to cool
cut into desired forms
enjoy

It will be the consistency of fudge

Have a nice weekend!

P.S.So BITOGers, what would be your touch to this nutty recipe?
Peanut butter?
other nuts?
dried fruits?
caramel?

Stir and level with a mini-bat?

Be a man, use your TSA non-approved folding or not knife and chop a wooden spoon from a mini-bat.
Make sure is ergonomic.

Ooooh, a happy customer: The Health-NUT!

Well let's change the recipe:

dairy free gluten free paleo smoothie:
-nuts (did I hear that before?)
-1 cup of water
-honey
-1 banana, cubed
-1 stalk of celery
-1/2 box of blueberies
-trow in blender
-set cap
-blend
-take cap out
-pour in recipient of choice
-enjoy!

My deepest apologies we (me and my twin brother) could not deliver it NUT-free.

I take it your kids are now grown up....

Have you had nuts thrown at full angry-kid speed at you?

Naw, probably just regular coronary artery disease. That kills more than diabetes too.
