I use it in my beater lowered my oil consumption compared to GSUD. Also use it in my lawn mower.
Between the high heat and high rev-energy exerted by my push lawnmower, I only use full synthetic in my Honda 5HP lawnmower. Currently and for the past several years, it's been Rotella T6 5W-40.
Small lot size (takes me 25 minutes to cut grass).....I change that Rotella every two years. 20oz of good synthetic oil is a small price to pay, to keep that lawnmower engine top-notch. It would never see leftover / beater-type oils. My lawnmower engines never lose compression, as the years of service pile-up. I also feed them premium-only gasoline....93 octane. They simply run better / smoother using the best top-tier gasoline like Shell, Mobil-Exxon or BP.
Also...Run your lawnmower completely out-of-gas, prior to winter storage. It saves the gaskets - removes things like varnish and gumminess in the fuel line, for an entire lifetime of that lawnmower's service.
