Just gauging interest, I have a few pieces of gear from some environment pulls that include, but are not limited to:

-Cisco Catalyst 2960S Gigabit switches. 48-port, PoE
-Cisco ASA5505 Adaptive Security Appliance
-Cisco RVS4000 Small Business router

Any BITOG'ers near the GTA interested, let me know and make me an offer. Further details available, just ask.

Quantities of each available?

Do the switches have stacking modules and stacking cables?

I'm guessing this hardware is a bit much for just a residential application? That small business router I'm guessing would work well for home use though?

I have six of the Catalysts I believe (will check inventory at the office tomorrow) and yes on the stacking modules and cables. The others are single units.

I use it at home, LOL!

If you want to learn IOS, it's a cheap way to do so.

Yes, the Small Business router is basically a Linksys device re-branded as Cisco. Nothing to write home about. The ASA 5505 would be decent. I was running a 5506W-X recently until I upgraded to the 2951 ISR I'm running presently.

I have no clue what it would be worth lol I just have a cheap 4 port gigabit router from Staples that cost $40.00 or so. Something like that would be worth a fair bit more I'm guessing.

Nope. Newegg sold it new for $150USD, I'd take $40 for it for sure.

Oh ok. Is it just straight plug in the power supply and hook up the wires?

Yup. WebUI managed, factory reset, just fire it up and configure. This does NOT have WiFi, just making sure you are aware of that. It's a VPN Small Business router, you'll need an access point (or convert your present router into an access point) to gain WiFi with it.
