04 Lexus ES330 4760mi homebrew leftover quarts UOA

Another boring report from my ES330. These oil changes make me sad that the rust from this cars 13 years in Michigan will kill it far before there's any engine issues. Wear remains low and steady. Oil used was 3 quarts of QS Defy (high Zinc API SL/SJ spec) 5w20 one Quart of Pennzoil Ultra (non GTL) Euro L 5w30 and 1 Quart of PYB 20w50 with an Affina made Car Quest Red 85348 filter that can be viewed in the filter section. Of note insolubles are down on this UOA compared to previous 3 samples which all has a knockoff Toyota copy filter from a Rock Auto clearance sale. Current oil and filter is M1 0w30 ESP (no gas rating) ACEA C2/C3 BMW LL-04 MB 229.31/229.51/229.52 with an Affina made CQ Premium Blue 85348 filter.

Report looks good. Why have you gone from a 9-10 K OCI down to a 5K OCI?

Not all the oils in my stash are good for a 10k oil change, like a lot of the conventional stuff. So just running everything 5k was easier. Especially when I have ~340 quarts on hand. Plus it lines up with my tire rotation at 5k.

Next change likely not to be at 10k as the ESP isn't an extended drain oil. It is likely to be over 5,000 as the oil already has over 2,000 miles on it and the car is going on a ~3,500 mile road trip next week. Will likely drop the oil when I get back from my trip.
