Pretty boring stuff. These XG's are built like tanks. This filter was only on a short time during the "dealer oil change fiasco".

Pleat count = 38. Pleats are deep from center cage to outer diameter (not referring to depth media), approximately 50% deeper than the pleats on the PF64 I cut open.

Overall, no concerns. Everything was sturdy, put together tight, ADBV and bypass valve sealed perfectly, silicone ADBV was very pliable and soft.

There's a couple of pics in the series showing it beside a smaller XG7317 which came off our civic last fall for comparison.

Same filter I run on my ‘10 Chrysler Sebring Touring 2.4L. My last one went approx 18k until I put a new one on. When I cut it apart, it looked just like yours. Except for some of the pleats I crushed using tin snips to cut it open.

I did not know they had metal end caps or is it just this particular filter for this truck?They look like the Ultra filter.Joe
