Not bad. Hard to tell from the pics just how much glue is left. Here's what we do: Get a grill scrubber like this:

Spray one wall at a time with your fabric softner water mix and lightly scrub the wall, you don't want to remove the paint, then wipe it down with a terry cloth towel, get it good and clean.
When it dries prime it with
https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalo...urface-sealer/. After that do your spackling and repair work. Once done you can prime it again with Zinsser Bullseye 123 primer. Then the knock down.
Yes time consuming, but I am giving you a method which will give good long lasting results.
