Cut and Post: MO-349 Cartridge filter

Actually just post since there ain't no cutting to do on it! Ran it about 6600 miles (Jeeep has 23k on it), Formula Shell 5W20 on my 3.2 Cherokee. Same went back in. Might do synthetic next go around.

Looks really good I think, no serious waviness, especially considering this had many many many sub zero starts. I get them for $7 from the dealer, better than $10 at Wal mart.

Frankly I would keep running that low cost Formula Shell oil my fathers Buick is over 300,000 miles running FS 5w30 conventional without issue.

Looks very similar (light waves) to the Wix I removed this past week from the wife’s Jeep 3.2L. Running PP it went 7817 miles with 15% still on the OLM.

Mine was at 14% or 15% too I think with 6600 miles on it.

May want to check this place, I get the Wix for $3.85ea, usually buy a dozen and it works out to $5ea with shipping on a dozen for me.
