Hi BITOG community. Let me know if you have anyone who may be interested.

Because of a new job across the country that starts in June and my wife leaving her job at that time, my family and I will be cutting back to 1 car. As a result, my 2017 Toyota Sienna "L" model is for sale. It is a 1-owner (me), has 4K miles on it, and is in near-new condition with no issues cosmetically/mechanically. I bought it November 2017.

I paid $32K for it out the door with KY taxes, looking at various pricing-guides, I am selling it for $25,000 (yep, taking a bath on it!). Clean title, car is financed through TD Auto Finance. Message me if you have any interest in it / want pictures / know someone who may be looking for a nearly-new Sienna.

Thank you

It's worth a drive to a CarMax.

Carmax offered me dealer trade-in, which is quite a bit less than private party value. I have till early June to sell the car so I am going to wait for the right buyer and right price.

What was dealer trade in value?

Havent found a compelling reason to use Carmax. Sales prices are poor and offers on cars from what Ive seen are as well.

Good luck!

KBB private party is 25,500. dealer trade is 22500, That is what Carmax also offered. dealer retail price is 27,500.

Carmax will list it for $27.5 and probably get it. Plus they have their own in-house financing and a long warranty that they honor. Which is mostly why buyers pay the high price.

I'd list it on autotrader and check out carvana, beepi, etc...

I am assuming you have kids, I see you have two mini vans. My question is how does one car suffice if you are at work with it? School, shopping, sports, doctor, etc, etc, how can that be done with one car? Just curious

Great commute, lucky you. What about rain, snow, cold, extreme heat, idiot drivers, etc? Guess what I am getting at is it would suck to sell the nice toyota you have at a loss, only to find out later you wish you didn't sell it.

Good luck in your new position.
