I swapped the bank 1 sensor 2 sensor with a new one and that code went away. I think when this truck was oil sprayed they must have hit the sensors and ruined them, or the power steering leak shorted them out (although the connectors were dry inside so who knows.)

I replaced the three sensors, when I started the truck up the bank 2 sensor 2 code appeared! But the others disappeared.

Made a trip to AAP, replaced that one and the MIL is gone. There was also an engine ground strap that was disconnected. Repaired that as well.

Gotta love old vehicles.

you'll want to make sure all of the necessary monitors have run to completion and left it in a passing state before taking it back for the re-inspection, otherwise they'll just fail it again. I would tell you to ask me how I know that, but I suspect you can guess.

Yeah, in NY all of them except one has to be ready. I have my scan tool in the cupholder and plan on driving it all week so in a few days hopefully it’ll be good.
