1977 Evinrude 15hp

I have two 15s. One is a 75 evinrude the other is a 83 Johnson. Best little motors ever made. I run NGK plugs in both but i run a hotter plug in the 75 in the winter cause it has points and runs better with a hotter plug in cold weather.

I have a old 75 and a 82 15hp evinrude and Johnson. The old one has points and in the winter I run a hotter plug than in summer. The 82 is new to me, it has electric start and doesn't have points. I did put the head off a 92 on my 75 because it needed a thermostat and you gotta pull the head on the old ones. With the head change out I had to get a new cowling because the thermostat is in a different spot. Now 3 holds and the thermostat comes out easy peasy. Wonderful little motors.
