Hey everyone,

I was looking around the Delvac website and noticed the pour point of Delvac 1 5W-40. It caught my eye because I remember when it first changed to CK-4, it use to say -33 C. Leading people to wonder if Mobil had cheapened the basestocks in it.

Now, it says -48 C. I wonder if it was a typo months ago, the Delvac 1300 says -33 C.

Also, remember that the gas specs were not listed on the first info months ago? It now says SN, SM.

Hope I never have to crank an engine or test an oil at -33 or -48C

That is why I live in the deep south. We do not have to worry about those temps.

Thank goodness

It appears to have been updated recently compared to a few months ago. Still doesn’t have Ford’s approval listed so maybe Phosphorus is less than 1000ppm.

Or they couldn't be bothered. The previous 5w-40 didn't have the previous Ford spec, but the Delvac 1 LE 5w-30 did.
