#4700318 - 03/20/18 12:40 AM Full cases (12 ct) of ACDelco Oil Filters for $4-7

So I was purchasing an oil change special online from AdvanceAutoParts the other day and saw they had a promo to get 30% off any filter with the purchase of 5qts of oil. So I decided, what the heck, might as well get one. While browsing for one, I found an ACDelco filter for my vehicle @ $5.43, but surprisingly it was advertising a whole 12ct fleet case. I decided I would order it and see what happens thinking I would likely get just a single filter.

Lo and behold, I got an entire case! laugh

I have to assume it's a pricing error, but they do have other product pages that advertises just a single filter so the pages where you actually see a full case pictured appear to be legit SKUs for an entire fleet case.

I believe these are all E-cores (mine were). I know many of you are apprehensive about using them, but I think the latest designs are a bit better and many have warmed up to them, especially if used for short/standard OCIs.

They are only available for online order. Free shipping starts at $25. You can always pad your order with in-store pickup items like a 5 QT oil change special which will automatically give you 30% off the filter purchase.

Available ACDelco filter models I could find that come in fleet cases include the following:

PF63 (This is what I ordered)
PF48
PF47
PF13
PF454
PF1218 (No picture of product, but if you add a vehicle to your profile that uses this filter, you'll see in the green special notes area that it's a 12-case)

If you pad your order with other items that qualify for coupon discounts, use code HXJ2BX to take 30% off.

Once the item ships, you can look at the package weight information on your tracking to see if it's heavy enough to assume you got the full case. Mine was 7 lbs.

Wow! Thank you! I got a brake hardware kit, hook and pick screwdriver set, copper antiseize, and a case of ph48 for dads gmc 6.0. All for $28 after coupon code. I like how you can combine in store pickup and mail order to reach free shipping also. Just wish you could use gift cards on their website. Iíll probably never use it because Iím always using discount codes online. I also wonder how damaged the oil filters will be during shipping. But again, nice find!

Sweet. I grabbed this myself. I have several vehicles that use the PF63.

I got a ups email saying Iím receiving a shipment from worldpac tomorrow and itís only 2 lbs. is this the advance auto package? I donít remember ordering anything else anywhere. It should be the filters and ANtiseize. The other stuff I ordered is for in store pickup.

Hmm, that's concerning. Yes, worldpac is the AdvanceAutoParts shipment.

Let me know if you only get one filter. Makes me wonder if the warehouse order filler made a mistake or simply assumed that it's an order for just a single filter.

Everything you buy online can be returned to any store. I've done that many times as needed.

@Rat407, let us know if you get the whole case. If it has already shipped, I'm curious to know what the package weight was.

I order an air filter and the 12pk oil filter via ship to home plus brake fluid and cleaners to pick in store. The air filter is already shipped (1lb) but the oil filter has not.

I ordered a case each of PF13, 47, 48, and 63. One big box showed up with a case of PF 47, 48, and 63. A second box arrived with only a single, loose, PF13 filter. Packing slip for the big box showed quantity of 12 for each filter type and the slip for the small box showed a quantity of one filter (even though the AAP webpage for that filter said it was for a case of 12). I returned the single filter ($7.17) to AAP and kept the 3 cases totaling 36 filters (about $15).

[censored], you made out like a bandit. Do you really need all those different model filters? smirk

Strange how some are getting mixed results. Really do wonder if it's kind of dependent on the warehouse worker, so YMMV.

Yep, I was pleased and the filters are also for other family member cars that I usually maintain as a hobby. I contacted AAP chat and he only showed that the single filter had shipped and didnít show any shipping info on the 3 cases. My AAP order history still only shows the PF13 shipped. The guy didnít seem to understand that the order was supposed to be for a case so I thanked him and disconnected so they wouldn't look into it too much and pull the deal for others. Boxes arrived in less than 24 hours after placing the order.

Joe,

Check out the deal Rock Auto has on the AC/Delco oil filters and air filters. When you purchase an AC/Delco oil filter and engine air filter on the same invoice, you can get $5 back by mail. The oil filter is only about $3-4, so you're getting it for free plus some off on the air filter.

Cheers,

Two
