I see quite a few pics of M1 and amsoil users showing clean valve train after over 100k miles.

Are there any shots of proud supertech, miles, harvest king, etc users valve trains after 100k miles?

I've posted a couple from my older cars at around 200k miles when I changed out the valve cover gasket. They looked beautiful. Quick Lube oils and filters.

Bought the car with 117K on it. At 171K I installed a new head. This is a picture under the valve cover 100K later. Since the head installation the car has had nothing but Shell white bottle 5w-20 and QS3600 or FL-400S filters. I think it looks pretty good.

I could pull a valve cover on my truck, but I'm scared. It was horribly neglected when I rescued it.

Have you had the timing chain and guides done on that car yet? VVT actuator? Chain looks good and taught.

What oil did you run after you got it? OCI? Looks more varnished than I would expect but that is mostly cosmetic. Looks OK for 150K miles.

I've done 4 changes with maxlife red bottle so I'll pull the cover again in a bit and see what's different.

The car has been good to me; I haven't changed any major component on the vehicle; It still serves me well that I hope it serves me in the future too.

My early OCI at 3K probably has something to do with it I think; oil is cheap and I plan keep on doing the same.

More of close up of the chain
