NAPA Gold (same as regular WIX) are 95% @ 20 microns.

Looks like a dome end bypass valve on this model.

I have noticed that as well, use oil does not always photograph well.

I've always liked those Wix/Napa Golds myself. Used to buy the 51361s for a Nissan VG30E quite a bit.

Probably Mann+Hummel influence.

The 1358 is an outlier of the standard Napa Gold filter construction. My 'speculation' is because it's applications include many/majority OPE applications it uses a nitrile adbv, dome bypass and perhaps even the louvered centertube. Garak has shown those filter aspects in a thread of 1358 some time ago.

If I owned the Sentra I'd be using the 5/7356 (7317 equivalent). It's .7" longer with silicone adbv, thread end bypass (no spacer) and up to this point punched holed centertube. Not that the last matters to me. Personally haven't seen an application where the longer 7317 equivalent(s) wouldn't work in a Nissan.

That said, looks like the 1358 did it's job over two ocis.
