I really like this movie about friendship, competition, sport, technology, rivalry and racing. The interview with Lauda is also great. I think Ron Howard did a good job of telling the backstory, the main story, then a bit of what happened to them both afterwards. Hemsworth and Bruhl did a fine job. Excellent soundtrack as well.

Yup - awesome flick.

The act of preventative maintenance, in and of itself, is FAR MORE important than brand/grade/base choices among lubes and filters.
- under maintaining something is akin to abuse/neglect; that can kill equipment by shortening the lifespan
- over maintaining something has never been proven to be anything but a waste of time and money

Good movie but not great. I thought it was pretty 'light' and spoon-fed the viewer too much basic info. It was obvious they used the same strip of track for the grid of each race and just re-dressed it. These famous tracks with their recognizable corners weren't represented very well. The CG generally wasn't very good. So in a lot of ways it was disappointing for me but I know a lot of people didn't care. I am certainly glad they made it, though.

The cast was very good, Bruhl especially.
