I know that Gumont and Redline have those great PEA cleaners that one adds into fuel but I think those are wasted on a Direct Injection engine. I have a 2015 Volvo which is DI Turbo and I was wondering what is the best method of cleaning the complete fuel system? I want to not only clean but also maintain it.

Does the Volvo DI also have port injectors? If not, I don't think a cleaner is going to do anything to clean the valves. The injector...yes. That's about it. A blast would be the best way to clean everything.

If the PEA flows through filter, pump, lines, regulators and injectors it still cleans the system. It doesn't remove any crud on the intake valves on DI motors.

The best way of cleaning the fuel system... is with a fuel system cleaner.

The best way to clean intake valves is to not worry about it and walnut blast them IF you need to.
