Got some on clearance at walmart....like 4 gallons. I live in Phoenix, and how a 21ft bassboat at 75-80mph during the summer when it's 110 out. I think it should be perfect

I think it won't matter to the engine one bit.
I also think that would have been as a better FB post ...

The act of preventative maintenance, in and of itself, is FAR MORE important than brand/grade/base choices among lubes and filters.
- under maintaining something is akin to abuse/neglect; that can kill equipment by shortening the lifespan
- over maintaining something has never been proven to be anything but a waste of time and money

On a new truck like yours, I would probably use oem oil weight (0w20?) until after warranty.

Breaking down his post to a generic analysis to paraphrase ...
"I bought stuff on sale. I live in a city. I'll use it in my vehicle in a manner that's totally normal. I think I made a great decision."

That belongs on Face Book. (or as I like to refer to it; Farce Book).

And the part about the bass boat belongs on old fashioned Wanted posters…
