Some pics from a recent visit to the Pearl Harbor Pacific Aviation Museum. While I don’t remember all the model designations, I’m sure BITOG aviation buffs will have no problem identifying them.

Great museum. Have to get out to Ford Island to see it, but it's worth the trip.

Did you happen to notice the logbook by the Stearman?

It was flown by one ENS George HW Bush in 1942 on his first solo.

Nice pics, I will be there the last week of this month. I hope to have better weather (at least some sun)!

I've budgeted half a day for my viewing pleasure, don't care what the wife thinks about that, but maybe she can book some "beach time" while I'm looking at the hardware.

They didn't have all the attractions the last time I was there (45 years ago). I have time set aside for the Missouri and the Bowfin also.

Great museum. I was there last August and found my friends grandfather on the list of [censored]’s Angels. He was a P-38 Ace.

The censor doesn’t like the S name for the devil

Cools shots Pete I wish I could have been there with you... did you
know the B25 Mitchell on display has black painted broomsticks in
place of twin 50 cal tail guns just like the actual Doolittle Raiders
bombers sported in an effort to lighten their loads for a carrier take
off???

If it was there, I missed it.

We kind of rushed through it because it was getting late.

Great photos QP! Thanks for sharing. Wish there were museums like that down my way! I could spend days in there reading & looking; immersed in history.
