That it is mixed stronger than 50/50 (which should test -34F), anyone else ever seen this? I have some premixed in the garage now, I will test it here in a bit and post the exact number that I get.

I have a 30 year old Prestone tester. I tested my G05 coolant mixed at somewhere near 50/50 in my F150. Tested at -34. Tested my Pentosin in the Versa Note which is a 50/50 mix from the bottle. Tests at just around -34 also. The tester works with a large needle indicator pointing to the temperature.

I have the Prestone tester. Picked it up at Walmart. You got me curious so i tested some 50/50 O'Reilleys Universal i have. Tested to -34.

I have used my Prestone tester over the years and have had various mixes in various vehicles. It has read anywhere from 0 to -40. With where I live anything from -34 to -24 is fine with me.
