Castrol EDGE Professional LL03 5w30 VW507 ran almost 10k miles. Emission equipment has not been deleted.

I am at about 54000 miles on my 2013 VW Passat TDI. I had the emissions modified by VW and kept the car. I have used dealer supplied and installed Castrol Professional LL03 5W-30 oil at about 9-10,000 mile intervals since new. No issues! Car runs great and has been VERY dependable. Stay the course!

Was this factory fill? Wonder where the sodium is coming from? The numbers aren't alarming, and they should come down in future tests.

I purchased mine as new-old-stock from VW after the TDI DieselGate Phase I fix was done. Part of the prep process after sitting on the lot for a year and a half was an oil change, so I did not test the factory fill.
